27.11.14 - The Club AGM took place earlier this evening at the Bulkeley Hotel Beaumaris.

13.09.14- Not a good final Saturday of the season for both Beaumaris clubs, The "A" lost 11-3 at home, best winner Barry Harris 21-10. Even worse news for the "B" as they were relegated to section "D" for the 2015 season after a 10-4 reverse at Llysfaen. Although the final points were tied on 108 with the Sunny Rhyl, the "B" had an inferior aggregate. The best winner was Robin Davies 21-9

09.09.14 - In a dramatic final match, Beaumaris beat Conwy 7-3 away, some fantastic bowling by the castlemen, winning the first 4 games. Barry Harris the best winner beating Welsh International Darren Williams 21-8. The result was not such good news for local rivals Llanfair who must win the play off next Tuesday at Llanrwst against applicants St Asaph to secure their Welsh Counties status for 2015.

The Senior "A" beat rivals Craig y Don "A" 5-4 , a big win needed next week at Llanfairfechan "A"

07.09.14 - Presidents Day at Beaumaris. A deserved winner Geraint Booth beat Elfyn Jones 21-14 in the final

06.09.14 - The coast "A" team lost 10-4 at Blaenau, could have taken 6 winners though. Beaumaris "B" lost 10-4 at home to Section "B" bound Benllech, the result leaves the "B" depending on Benllech beating Sunny Rhyl heavily next Saturday to stay in Section "C" next year.

02.09.14 - A poor 8-2 home defeat to Abergele in the Welsh Counties League leaves us looking for a miracle result next week at Conwy.

01.09.14 - Beaumaris secured runners up spot in the Monday evening league with a 6-4 win at Holyhead, best winner Kath Bates 21-11.

31.08.14 - Congratulations to Barry Harris & John Short for winning the League pairs at Bangor today.

30.08.14 - Beaumaris "A" looking for a top 5 spot in the NWCL Section "A"  beat local rivals  10-4 best winner Tim Williams 21-3. Beaumaris "B" lost badly 11-3 at promotion chasing Mochdre Park "A", best winner Robin Davies 21-8, points required at home to Section "C" leaders Benllech next Saturday.

27.08.14 - Beaumaris "A" needing at least 4 winners to finish as runners up to Champions Llanfair, could only manage 2 wins at Caernarfon. The winners were Derek Stanley  and Adam Harris. There was better news from the "B" team who won 7-5, best winner Captain Bobby Williams 21-2.

26.08.14 - Beaumaris lost 9-1 away to Broughton, the only winner was Keith Bailey 21-17. Llanfair and Coed Talon also lost  7-3 and 8-2 respectively . Bottom 3; Beaumaris 76(home to Abergele, away to Conwy)Llanfair 74( home to Conwy, away to Broughton) and Coed Talon 72(last 2 games at home)

23.08.14 -Beaumaris "A" lost 9-5 at Bangor, the result should have been better after being 3-1 up after the first 4. Best winners Barry Harris 21-7 and Brian Begley 21-9.

22.08.14 - Beaumaris "B" were beaten by 44 in the final of the John Griffiths Cup played at Llanfair, best winner was Allen Parry 21-13. Well done to Benllech who were far superior on the night

20.08.14 -Beaumaris beat Benllech 11-1 and now need at least 4 points next week at Caernarfon to secure second place. The best winners were Ken Parry, Ken Thomas and Adam Harris 21-11.Well done to Llanfair on winning the league. Beaumaris "B" lost 11-1 at Bethesda.

19.08.14 - Beaumaris "A" returning to winning ways with a 9-0 whitewash over Llanfair PG, Brian Begley leading by example with a 21-4 win. The "A" are now 13 points ahead of Craig y Don "A" who beat  Beaumaris "B" 7-2 . No game for the "A" next week.

Welsh Counties - Beaumaris had a brilliant 9-1 win over Min y Don which improves the hope of survival, best winner Andrew Stanley 21-11. 

18.08.14 - Beaumaris beat Caernarfon 8-2 in the Monday evening league, best winner was Allen Parry 21-11.The result means we are guaranteed a top 2 place.

16.08.14 - Beaumaris "A" lost 10-4 at Llanrwst "A" best winner was super sub WT Roberts 21-7. The "B" lost 8-6 at home to Prestatyn Highbury, Colin Rutter best winner 21-8.

12.08.14 - The "A" had a shock 7-2 reverse at Bethesda "A", the "B" made a miserable day losing 2-7 at home to Conwy. In the Welsh Counties League Beaumaris managed just 1 winner at Rhos Park

11.08.14 - Beaumaris won 8-2 Benllech, best winners Allen Parry 21-7 and Derek Stanley 21-8. We are 10 points behind Bangor with two games to go.

09.08.14 - Beaumaris "A" beat Denbigh "A" 11-3 in the coast, best winners Tim Williams 21-5 and Dave Mathias 21-6. The "B" lost 13-1 at Bethesda.

08.08.14 - Beaumaris failed to retain the Whitworth Trophy against Caernarfon at Bangor, losing by a disappointing 43 points after being 33 down after the first four blocks.

05.08.14 - Beaumaris "A" beat Caernarfon 8-1 in the Tuesday afternoon league, best winner Ken Parry 21-7. The "B" also won 6-3 at Llanfairfechan, best winner Trevor Ashenden 21-11

04.08.14 - Beaumaris beat Llanfair 7-3 in the Monday evening league, best winner was Jake Stanley 21-7 followed by Jake's grandfather Derek who won 21-8. The win leaves us 10 points behind Bangor with three games left.

02.08.14 - Back to coast league action and Beaumaris "A" had a good away win at local rivals Caernarfon 9-5, best winner Allen Parry 21-8. The "B" had a bad result loosing 11-3 at home to high fliersCopperfields, Trevor Ashenden won 21-5.

01.08.14 - Adam celebrated his 30th birthday with a surprise party at Bangor City football club. Members of the bowling club and friends enjoyed the evening, thanks to Adam's wife Joanne for organising. Adam had to be blindfolded to disguise the venue. Ken Thomas gave a demonstration of his dancing skills.  

01.08.14 - The "B" coast played a rearranged match at Sunny Rhyl and came away with 4 winners, best was Robin Davies 21-4. 

30.07.14 - Beaumaris "A" beat Bethesda 10-0 in the Wednesday evening league, best winners were Ken Parry and Adam Harris 21-6. The win takes us to the top of the league with another home game next Wednesday to Holyhead. The "B" lost 12-0 at Benllech.

29.07.14 -Beaumaris "A" won 7-2 at Penmaenmawr in the senior citizens league, best winner was Ken Parry 21-7. The "A" are 10 points ahead of Craig y Don "A". The "B" had a free week.

28.07.14 - Beaumaris continued their good form on the Criccieth green by winning 6-4, best winner was Jake Stanley 21-8. Bangor's 10-0 home win against Llangefni leaves us 8 points behind the leaders with four games to go.

25.07.14- Beaumaris "B" beat Holyhead 179-147 to reach the final of the John Griffiths Cup. Best winner and man of the match was Kevin Fallows 21-1, followed by Allen Parry 21-4. The "B" meet Benllech in the final on Friday 22 August.

22.07.14 - Beaumaris had an important 8-2 win over fellow strugglers Coed Talon, best winners were John Short 21-5 and 21-9 wins for Barry Harris and Stuart Thomas. The win sees us 7 points ahead of neighbours Llanfair who lost at home 6-4 to Esclusham. Beaumaris have a tough assignment next week away to Esclusham but on current form we look favourites to avoid a play off at the end of the season to remain in the league in 2015.

In the Tuesday Senior Citizens Beaumaris "A" beat rivals Llandudno "A" 6-3 in an eventful by all accounts match. Best winner was DT Evans 21-11. The "B" lost  8-1 at Criccieth.

21.07.14 - Beaumaris beat Menai Bridge 10-0 in the Monday Night League, best winners were in form Jake Stanley 21-7 and Allen Parry 21-9. The win takes Beaumaris within 4 points of leaders Bangor who lost to rivals Caernarfon 6-4 who gained their first league win of the season. With just 5 games left, maybe Beaumaris still have a chance of retaining  the league title. Next week weface a tough test away at Criccieth.

19.07.14 - Beaumaris "A" beat high fliers Minydon 8-6 this afternoon in a close battle, winning   the aggregate by just two points (211-209) After only one winner in the first four and two out of the middle four, a home defeat looked on the cards. Adam Harris showed his true grit coming back from 9 nil to win 21-20. Jake won 21-8 and Tim held on to win 21-19, Derek just lost out at 21-19 but securing enough points to take the aggregate. Callum was the best winner 21-3.There is no game next week because of the All England Finals. Beaumaris "B" match was called of away at a not so Sunny Rhyl because of heavy rain in the Rhyl area.

17.07.14 - Beaumaris beat Llanfair in a rearranged Welsh Counties match winning 7-3 and takes us of the bottom , bestwinnerwas Jake Stanley 21-8.

15.07.14 - Beaumaris "A" lost 5-4 at Conwy in a thriller. The aggregate was tied at 119, best winners were the pairs 21-9. The "B" beat Llanfair PG 5-4, best winner Trevor Ashenden 21-3 and Colin Rutter 21-5.

14.07.14 - Beaumaris lost 7-3 at Bethesda. Best winner was the pairs Bobby Williams and Martin Davidson who won 21-8, well done to Martin. The result leaves us 10 points behind Bangor with 6 games to go.

12.07.14 - Beaumaris "A" lost 11-3 to leaders of section A Rhos Park "A". Best winner was yet again Keith Bailey who beat Mark Whiteley 21-14. The other winners were Andrew Stanley and Ken Parry. The first four games could have gone either way. The "B" team faired better beating Vardre "A" 9-5, best winner Ken Thomas 21-8.

10.07.14 - Beaumaris beat Holyhead by 7 points to book a place in the final of the Whitworth Cup for the third consecutive year. Best winner was Allen Parry 21-4 and Kevin Fallows 21-9. Derek Stanley won 21-14 to seal the tie. Beaumaris now take on Caernarfon on Friday 8th August at a venue to be confirmed.

09.07.14 - Beaumaris "A" beat Beaumaris "B" 10-2, best winner for the "A" was Adam Harris 21-7. The win sees the "A" level with Llanfair on top of the Wednesday league. Beaumaris "A" are

at Llanfair next week. 

08.07.14 - Some very sad news today as we hear of the passing away of Hwfa Roberts and his wife. Hwfa was a well respected bowler across the North Wales bowling scene for many years. Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

07.07.14 - Beaumaris lost 7-3 and only their second match of the season in the Monday Night League away at Llangefni.Best winner was Derek Stanley 21-13.

05.07.14 - The A had a crushing 12-2 win against Fron Park best winners were Mike Ormond, Ken Parry and Allen Parry 21-7. The "B" lost 8-6 at Penygroes. The "B" won 5 games but claimed the extra bonus point as the aggregate was tied at 205 each. Best winners were Colin Rutter 21-6 and Kath Bates 21-7.

04.07.14 - Tonight's scheduled semi- final of the Whitworth Cup against Holyhead was postponed due to heavy rain in the Benllech area. The tie has been rescheduled for next Thursday (10th) The winners meet Caernarfon in the final.

02.07.14 - The A beat Caernarfon 8-4 best winners were Andrew Stanley 21-8 and Adam Harris 21-9, the gap is now 10 points between us and leaders Llanfair. The "B" did well away at Holyhead with 5 winners, best was Kevin Fallows 21-11. Next week is the "A" versus the "B"

01.07.14 - Beaumaris beat Gresford 6-4 tonight although the score does not reflect the home team's dominance. The best winner was Adam Harris 21-12, there were three 21-20's against the home side. A massive away game at Llanfair next Tuesday.

Beaumaris "A" beat Llanfairfechan "A" 9-0 earlier best winners were DT Evans and Ken Thomas 21-6, the result leaves Beaumaris 6 points ahead of Llandudno in pole position. The "B" team lost 7-2 at Bethesda "A" best winner the pairs 21-15.

30.06.14 - Beaumaris beat Bangor 6-4 in the Monday night league. Best score was the pair captain Bobby Williams and Kath Bates winning 21-9. The win takes Beaumaris a point ahead of Bangor with the start of an interesting second half of the season under way.

28.06.14 - Beaumaris "A" again lost 13-1 , this time away to St Asaph "A", Keith Bailey the only winner 21-16, Kevin Williams did come close though loosing 21-20. The "B" won 8-6 at home to St Asaph "B" Trevor Ashenden winning 21-6.

27.06.14 Not a good evening for both Beaumaris teams in the Coast League Cup. The "A" lost by 7 points to Grove Park and the "B" lost by 16 to Benllech.

25.06.14 - Beaumaris "A" were away at Benllech and came away with a useful 7-5 win, best winner was Andrew Stanley 21-6. The result leaves Beaumaris "A" 18 points behind leaders Llanfair PG who surprisingly beat Caernarfon 8-4 on their own green. Next week Beaumaris "A" take the cofi's at home which should be an interesting match. The "B" team lost 8-4 at home to Bethesda, best winner Kath Bates 21-1 her second "one er" this week.

24.06.14 - Beaumaris "A" lost only their second game in the Tuesday afternoon league going down 6-3 at Craig y Don, best winner was Ken Thomas 21-13. The "B" team won 7-2 at home to Caernarfon, the best winner was Trevor Ashenden 21-3.

Beaumaris played Conwy for the second time in three days, this time in the Welsh Counties League. Conwy won 7-3 best winner was Barry Harris 21-14. The result leaves Beaumaris 5 points behind local rivals Llanfair PG who we meet in two weeks.Next week we are home again to Gresford. We understand there are two teams interested in joining the league for the 2015 season.

23.06.14 - Beaumaris beat Holyhead 9-1 leaving us just a point behind leaders Bangor. Kath Bates was the best winner with an amazing 21-1 score. Young Daniel Owen won again in the pairs with Jake Stanley. Bangor visit Happy Valley next Monday in a first v second in the table match.

21.06.14 Beaumaris "A" lost 13-1 at Conwy. The only winner was Keith Bailey. There however four 21-18 and a 21-20 against. Beaumaris "B" had had two games and were unbeaten in both . First up was a 9-5 win against Mochdre "A" best winner John Bates. Llysfaen were next who were locked in a 7-7 draw.

20.06.14 Beaumaris "A" beat Blaenau Ffestiniog 9-5 in tonight's rearranged Coast League Section "A" match. This ended up to be a fair result after being 3-1 down after 5 the first 4. Best winners were Adam Harris 21-3, Jake Stanley and Ken Parry 21-9. Beaumaris "A" are away at Conwy "A" tomorrow and the "B" team have two home games against Mochdre "A" (rearranged) and Llysfaen.

18.06.14 Beaumaris "A" lost by a single point against Caernarfon on tonight's semi-final of the Festival Cup. Best winners were Adam and Barry Harris 21-10. Caernarfon now play Llanfair in the final.

The draw was made this evening for the John Griffiths Cup. Beaumaris "B" play Holyhead (5 home, 5 away) in the semi final. In the other semi final Benllech play Bethesda.

The draw for the Coast League Cup (5 home, 5 away) has also been made. Beaumaris "A" will play Grove Park from the Rhyl area with a massive 70 point advantage. Beaumaris "B" meanwhile have less to travel who have been drawn against Benllech. Beaumaris "B" have a 14 point advantage. Ties will be played on Friday 27 June.

17.06.14 Beaumaris "A" continued their fine form with a 7-2 win over second placed Criccieth in the Senior Citizens League, Derek Stanley best winner 21-8. The result leaves us 7 points ahead with a game in hand. Beaumaris "B" lost 6-3 at Penmaenmawr, best win was the doubles 21-12.

In the Welsh Counties league, Beaumaris lost 6-4 at Abergele. Barry Harris leading the way with a 21-7 win. There were also wins for Ken Parry, John Short and Adam Harris. Beaumaris are 3 points behind local rivals Llanfair.The next two matches are at home followed by a massive away game at Llanfair on 8 July. We need as many points as possible over these three matches.

16.06.14 Our Monday night team won 9-1 at Caernarfon this evening. The win puts pressure on leaders Bangor. Congratulations to our youngest member, 8 year old Daniel Owen who won 21-12. Daniel's dad Geraint was our best winner with a score of 21-9.


The "A" teams scheduled home match was postponed as Blaenau Ffestiniog were unable to raise a team, the match has been rescheduled for next Friday 20th. The "B" teams short trip to Benllech yesterday resulted in a heavy 12-2 defeat. Kath Bates doing best winning 21-11, the other winner was Colin Rutter 21-13. Beaumaris "B" now have two home games to gain some much needed points in section C
